What to do first

Stay off the roof. From the ground, photograph anything obvious — missing shingles, debris, water stains on ceilings — and note the date of the storm. Then call. We will tarp anything actively letting water in and document the rest properly.

Who is knocking

We were here before the storm

After a bad blow the Grand Strand fills up with crews from out of town. Some are fine. The difference is that we live and work here, so we were here before the storm and we will be here long after the repairs are signed off — which is when a roofing warranty actually matters.

The inspection

Documented, not described

An insurance claim is only as good as the evidence behind it.

  1. We Get On The Roof

Not a look from the driveway. Wind-lifted shingles, missing tabs and hail bruising are things you have to be up there to see.

  2. High-Resolution Photographs

Every finding photographed and dated, so the claim rests on what is actually there rather than on a description of it.

  3. An Unvarnished Assessment

Including when the answer is that the roof is fine. A storm does not damage every roof it passes over.

Insurance

Help with the claim,
honestly framed

If a claim is the right route we will help you through the paperwork with clear, itemized estimates, so your insurer is working from accurate facts about the structure.

We are not adjusters and we cannot tell you what your policy covers. What we can do is make sure the evidence is documented properly, which is the part that usually decides it.

Storm gone through? Let us take a look.

A post-storm inspection is free and there is no obligation attached to it. If your roof came through fine, that is a good morning for both of us.
